Ship
Repairing yard "Nerpa" offers it's services in the field of dismantlement
and modernization of drilling platforms, also in scrapping of ships,
vessels and other floating means on it's industrial capacities in
suitable terms with ecological safety demands execution. Nowadays
411 platforms are situated in the North Sea and 71 of them are in
offshore of Norway. It is planned, that over 15 platforms in British
offshore and 5 ones in Norwegian offshore will finish their activity
during the next 5 years and they will be prepared for dismantlement
and moving off from offshore. Over 100 platforms will be put out
of action during the period from 2005 till 2010. The problems of
putting out of action of drilling platforms, their transportation
to coast, the renewal of equipment and modules for the next use
and the scrapping of other fragments without the damage for the
environment and with minimal costs, face very sharply for the owners
of platforms.

Our enterprise has a wide range of equipment, which allows to fulfil
the whole complex of works on scrapping of floating means with minimal
costs and in minimal terms. For example, we have the great nomenclature
of gas-cutting equipment in our disposal, cable-cutting installation
high-production guillotine, which makes scrapping according to world
standards with output 73 tons per hour, also we have a transport,
lightning technique, equipped piers, oxygen and acetylene stations.
Ship Repairing Yard "Nerpa" has workshops, that allow repairing,
modernization and scrapping of drilling platforms. Ship Repairing
Yard "Nerpa" works successfully in the field of nuclear submarines,
ships, vessels and different floating means dismantlement.
Since 1997 till 2000 total volume of scrap metal shipped from SRY
"Nerpa" is 100 000 tons.
Our enterprise is ready to accept the modules of drilling platforms
and different floating facilities for dismantlement on consumer's
offers. SRY "Nerpa" offers to consider both variants of
modules transportation to our enterprise:
1)Delivery is made by platform owner or his subcontractor;
2)Delivery is made by SRY "Nerpa" on condition to financing
of the barge construction by Norway party for SRY "Nerpa".
The barge can be constructed in frames of agreement between Norwegian
and Russian Governments on cooperation in field environment safety
of AMEC program. This barge is carrier for reactor compartment units
and also it can be used in frames of program of drilling platforms
dismantlement in the North Sea. Main characteristics of barge allow
to execute the transportation of drilling platform modules.
