The floating
metal piers design PM-61 M, and design 1516 consist of three rectangular
pontoons with overhangs. They are intended for stationary mooring
of vessels in conditions of protected harbors.
The floating piers provide:
- mooring of two vessels (PM-61 M - for vessels with dis-placement
up to 5000 t, pier 1516 - with displacement up to 18000t during
weather conditions with waves height 0.8 m for pier design PM-61
M and 1 m for pier design 1516, and wind 25 m/s for both designs);
- carrying-out of loading and unloading works using cranes and
loaders;
- AC and DC electrical supply of vessels from shore;
- water, air, steam, gas (nitrogen) supply;
